This quilt is the product of a photography class I took at Chautauqua Institution in New York State and a quilting workshop with Joan Colvin at Empty Spools Seminars in Asilomar, CA.  It is not my style of quilting, but I learned a lot about design from Joan, particularly that shape can evolve from the process and need not be regular.  My irregular shaped quilts evolve from this workshop.
