Being Fourteen captures a precious moment between my granddaughter, Lucy, and her best friend Alex.  It was created in response to a call for entries called “Can You Hear It?”  The challenge was to create a two dimensional work that elicits a sound.  When you look at it, can’t you hear that joyful giggle between two young girls?
