I generally work from photos I have taken myself, but the craggy faces that leaped out of the newspaper one morning stuck in my mind and haunted me until I did this quilt.  I am not a fan of the Rolling Stones or their music, but I did go to a movie of one of their concerts and was impressed by their love of performing and the way they appear to care about one another.  This was a very fun challenge.  In Ronnie’s jacket I learned that fabric can sometimes do the work for you.
