Erik Wolfe was a powerful force during his short life and built a huge fan club as he faced many challenges.  When he passed on at age 8, I asked if I could make a quilt as a tribute to his life and the things he loved.  It may sound strange, but the spirit of Erik spent several months with me in my studio, nudging me this way and that as I made choices and changed my mind and pondered the results.  It was hard for me to send his bright presence off to his family.
