When the SAQA Annual Conference came to Portland in 2015, members were asked to make a 8″ X 6″ quilt for the fund-raising auction.  At first I thought it would be impossible to make such a small portrait, but then I decided to accept the challenge.  John in Red is the result.  When it was finished I was quite pleased with the simple image that captured a fan favorite.
