My sister, Melanie Watson, and I took a workshop at an Empty Spools Seminar in Asilomar, CA, with Judy Dales.  Both of us were just interested in learning a new technique and having fun together.  I broke out of the mold that was being taught and didn’t make the instructor very happy, but it was a fun experience.
