Pandemic Quilt #2 Is a double hexagon nested design. As I used up fabric from my stash, I reached a point where I couldn’t make sufficient 5” strips to complete a hexagon from a single fabric. I cut 2 3/4” strips and sewed them together to make 5” strips. When I cut the triangles I created two hexagons with the order of the fabrics reversed for them. I chose to nest these hexagons in the traditional hexagon quilt arrangement. I love the richness of this design, but it is labor intensive.
