When I was president of the Chagrin Valley Quilters I challenged the membership to make a quilt to exemplify “When I’m an old woman I will……”  This is my first attempt at capturing a moment in a quilt.  I had a friend help me stage the photo and didn’t want to even try doing a face, so I picked up a book and hid my face behind it.  Lesson learned:  be careful what book you choose to hide behind.  The blocks on the book are each 1” square.  Looking back, I should have worn mittens as well.
