This portrait was part of the Social Justice Sewing Academy Remembrance Project that asked volunteers to create quilt tops commemorating murder victims, primarily those who were black.  Aidan was murdered in 2019 while living in an Ashland, OR, motel after being evacuated from a wildfire area.  His crime, playing music too loud!
