Hot Flash is a collaboration between Mary McLaughlin and me in response to the High Fiber Diet call, “Heat Wave.”  Our goal was to depict the hot and cold sides of a typical hot flash.  We worked separately, but collaborated closely to create a piece that works as one.  Mary created the right (cool) side of the diptych and I created the left (hot) side.  It was fun working with a fellow portrait quilter.
