From the time my granddaughter, Sarah, was a little girl I have thought she would be a great model for a Frida Kahlo portrait quilt.  One summer she came for a visit and we decided to stage a photo shoot, so I could create a pattern and move forward with the project.  We went to JoAnn Fabrics and gathered the props and then had a fun time doing makeup and trying different clothes and smiles.  A fun Gram/Sarah collaboration.
